Big Daddy Sitch is loving his current situation.
When not filming for Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino is experiencing a different kind of reality show with wife Lauren Sorrentino: life with their two kids Romeo, 22 months and Mia, 2 months.
"Life is definitely crazy right now," the MTV star told E! News in an exclusive interview. "Me and my wife sort of divide and conquer. The main word or the key word I'd have to say is definitely 'survive' on a daily basis, but we wouldn't have it any other way. I've always wanted a big Italian family and we're definitely off to a good start."
In fact, the 40-year-old recently sparked rumors that another baby could be coming sooner rather than later when he wrote "Baby #3 tonight" on Instagram after celebrating date night March 25.
But as he revealed, they're not quite there—yet.
"I was saying baby No. 3 because my wife looked gorgeous at this Eat Clean Bro gala that we went to and we're just getting back to the swing of things with husband and wife obviously," Mike explained. "I would like baby No. 3, but I think I need to let the wife recover and take a take a year off and just live life for now."
"I was just excited," he continued with a laugh, "just doing a sort of an insinuation that husband and wife were going to be living their best life that night."
Having a family is something Mike always dreamed of after marrying Lauren in 2018. But as the couple documented their journey to parenthood on Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, Lauren suffered a miscarriage in 2019.
Despite heartbreak, the couple said they stayed optimistic. Now, they hope their story can inspire other couples to keep trying.
"On the way to success, you will run into failure," Mike said. "You will run into noes. It has happened to me and my wife many, many times and we didn't give up and we continued to move forward. We continued to be positive. We stayed in faith and eventually we were blessed."
And while parenthood is keeping Mike more than busy, he's also excited to expand Brotrition, his line of workout supplements. The brand recently launched a new salted caramel protein powder to add to their wide variety of flavors, including BROFettis Birthday Cake.
"Everybody knows that Big Daddy Sitch loves his Funfetti," Mike joked. "I don't think that you would expect anything less from one of the forefathers of gym, tanning and laundry. I always wanted to come up with a supplement line."
He added, "I'm a dad of two, married five years in a happy marriage and sober seven years. I have all this wisdom and I want to give it back to you the people."
Jersey Shore: Family Vacation airs Thursday nights at 8 p.m. on MTV.
